Under the stars for sure! A self inflating foam pad and a compact sleeping bag rated to 20*, a bic lighter for a campfire, and a few nips of bourbon and I sleep like a baby!
The wife enjoys the outdoors too and with 2 bikes it's easy to load all the gear!

Depends. I like the stars, dirt, foam rollmat, etc, because you can stop, camp, get up, change underwear, keep riding.
The little woman likes hot showers, and changing clothes every day.
