WE rode this weekend about 200 miles around town, just cruisin
I had a little extra cash left over (Sold my Vette to get the Bike) so I ordered up some Mods, Windshield, Sissy Bar and Luggage rack, some Chorme Pieces and the Wife just OK'd me to get a New Exhaust !
We were riding today and in the Starbucks Parking lot someone had a Shadow 1100 with some Killer Pipes and my wife said, you have to get some of those !
How Kool was that !

I just cant decide between Vance and Hines or Cobra

I've got Vance & Hines Cruisers on my Spirit and I'm really happy with the sound of them. The quality of the chroming right down to having a "double wall" pipe (an outer pipe that acts as a heat sheild the length of the pipe to the muffler section- keeps you from ever seeing discoloration and makes the pipes look bigger in diameter).
Check out the Vance & Hines site they had sound bites of the different styles. Not really the same as what they will sound like in person.

Welcome and congrats on the new ride!

Just throwing in my testimonial... I've got Cobra slashcuts and love them. After riding on them a year or so, I pulled the baffles out, and now REALLY love them.

I was riding with a Hardley over the weekend and when we stopped at a light, he said "I think your bike threw up back there - that shit sounds sick!"

I told him that maybe when his Sportster grows up, it can be cool too...
