Just wanted to say thanks to both shadowriders.net and scootmods on ebay for the free shipping deal on my 6" forward controls.

How i did it, was went to the 6" forward controls bought them for $139.95 and then when it asked to paynow, they have their e-mail address on that page (scootmods@hotmail.com) Which i said

" Hi, I'm a shadowriders.net forum member and just woundering if I still get the free shipping you guys offer for being a member.

yeah,i don`t think i got my free shipping from them but i don`t really care for i love my forward controls.wish that was the first mod i did along with my hacked up pipes(that someone mentioned they were).best thing i done to my bike.

i got the 4" brackets and they fit me perfect.I`m 5'10" and any longer one`s and it would feel like i was laying down.

Well i got my forwards on friday and i'm very pleased with the outcome. They're almost to far forward now with mustang seat and me bein 6' 2". I'm pondering the idea of getting the 5" forwards from them and selling these 6" to fearofshadow cause he's 6' 5" with the stock seat and need's every inch to stretch out on his SS. The quality of the scootmods is fair and installation instructions was shit but like many have said, with time you can figure out how they go on and what goes where. The longer brake rod is what gave me the most problems. There was a burr on the mating end of the brake rod that was binding the factory brake arm, but after hitting it with a file and some slight bending it works flawless now. I would recomend these to anyone that feels scrunched up on their shadow. But in conjuction with the mustand seat you might want to consider an inch smaller on the forwards being that the mustang scoots you back 1.5 to 2 inches. If anyone is interested i can post some pics of the forwards and the angle of my legs at riding positon.
