Exhaust Interchangeability on 97 ACE 1100

Question: will any VT1100 exhaust fit an ACE, or are there differences from model year and type of Shadow (ie: ACE vs Spirit vs Sabre)...ASide from where the exhaust mounts to the frame a t the back, can systems be swapped out pretty easily? I'm looking at a two into one exhaust from an Aero 1100, wondering if it will fit my ACE....

On a side topic, anyone know any vendors of aftermarket frames designed specifically to take metric parts?

From what I've heard, it should. I'm waiting for my V&H Pro Pipe to arrive. It's a 2 into 1 system for the Sabre. It's going on my '95 VT1100C. I've heard of people using the 2 into 1 750 ACE exhaust on their 750 Spirit. Basically, as long as the engines have the same head port separation and mounting locations, the most you might have to do is fabricate a mounting bracket to attach the rear of the pipe(s) to the frame. That is all I'm expecting to have to do. Give it a shot!
