Need a little more info. Bogging how? Engine sputtering or is the engine running fine and just no power? Is the clutch slipping?

How many miles? Is there fresh fuel in it?

Was the bike sitting for a while before you bought it., How fresh is the gas? If the gas that you had sitting around in a can, drain the tank and start with a fresh tank.
If the bike sat for a while, the carbs might be gummed up with varnish. They should be ripped apart and cleaned if that's the case.....or...You can always try running a can of SeaFoam through it. Shouldn't hurt it and may help.
Also you may want to pull your plugs and make sure that they aren't fouled. If you haven't changed the plugs, now would be a good time as well.

Your bars are 1". The throttle sleeve is slightly larger, but I've not measured it. I would have to guess that the pair is suited to be used with 1" bars and throttle sleeves are standardized in size. Give it a go! Even if they make it look like a girl's bike!

LOL, it'll definitely take a certain look to a bike to pull off looking good (real old skool). Either that or you can opt for the basket and tassles.

Yeah, I envision a pink woven one mounted on the bars, with a "ringy-dingy" bell mounted by his left thumb! :crazy3: :tongue3:

I got a red sparkel seat and flame job . Why not red sparkel grips ? Will my manhood really be in question ? I guess the secrete is out , I am a big sissy .

Like I said, it's going to take a certain look to be able to use that style/look grip and not have it look weird. Not saying it can't be done, it just isn't something that could be installed on just any bike. With your seat design and possibly an old skool paint job it may look all right.
