Layed the Crystal Black....Buffing tommorrow!!!

Well..... so here it is......... layed the metalic silver......then layed the tribal....that sucked... ... so here is the start

Then we layed on the Crystal Black.......

I like tribal too..... mine would not let me tattoo....we just spent $3500.00 takin one off of her arm...... cost more takin it off than it does puttin it on

took me a while to figure out which tribal to put on it..... there are so many designs....

The Crystal Black looks awsome....I wish now that I would have gotten more metalic in the silver though......the black makes it look basic now that they are together.....

lol i am in the middle of trying to get something like that organized, my buddy can paint, but isnt a "painter" (what he says) he said he can get it done right, just might take longer, all i got to do is pay the materials. thinking about doing a tribal design with black, but goin for a silver/blue mix on the tribal (debating doing it all in flat colors) he isnt sure he can do it though because he is afraid its out of his league

was it very difficult to get that tribal on there? i saw something about you getting it cut in vinyl no?

got to lay down a solution before you lay the vinyl down....I used a windex bottle with 2 drops of dawn and full of water......layed down the vinyl and then squeegy the hell out of it....... Had to get a masking vinyl and a medium tack transfer tape...... the tranfer vinyl is supposed to come up easier.......LOL ....yea right.....it came up easier......just leaves a glue film on th tank.....had to get a water base solvent to take off the glue and ALOT of elbow grease......BE VERY CAREFUL TO GET IT ALL!!!!!!..... I missed some small amounts of glue....even after taking the solution to it....and wet sanding.....some still made it through.....and you CAN NOT SEE IT TILL IT IS TO LATE!!!!!...... the glue melted in the clear....leaving some blemishes in the final coat.......... I have a vinyl cutter ....so the designs are nothing the spit out if I messed one up....and I did......ended up cutting three....the third went on without a hitch....... since I learned from my mistakes on the other 2........... other than the hang ups with the vinyl....everything else is easy..... if he can paint.....at all......you can do this.....
