Now for all of you to appreciate this, you must understand my child-like aww and wonder when I see "critters" or as I call it "Nature".....

This has nothing to do about bikes but I just wanted to share. Last night I went down to the lake w/a friend. We were hanging on the dock watching the water ripple and the sun fade to dark. All of a sudden, a little head swims into my field of vision. It's a Beaver/Otter!! At that moment, I thought, I'm so lucky to live here in this beautiful place and be able to witness nature's beauty. Then after the stars came out, we saw a Crayfish (I know, I know, big deal) THEN......I put my flashlight toward's the water's edge and saw a SNAKE!!! WOW! It was eating a fish!! It just tickled me to death!

Today, we went to the local waterfalls, It was so beautiful, that my friend and I decided to take our shoes off and climb in. Of course sticking our heads under the water. It was so cool and refreshing and CLEAN. I'm going for a walk tonight w/FF and hopefully he can share in some of this beauty with me.

The way I think of it is like this....I'm going to enjoy the hell out of my neighborhood before it becomes over developed like everything else around us.

I just wanted to share some of the beautiful simple pleasures that I've experienced.

Oh and one more thing...FF & I were working in the yard the other day and all of a sudden he says...."Hey, you wanna fuck on the deck?" I say "OK!" we did and then went back to work in the yard for a bit then he rowed me around the lake. hee hee life is good. :wink_2:

Congrats to both of you!! I had a similar thing with my son a couple years ago. I use to race R/C cars. I finally decided to let him use one of my older ones. He used it two weekends. Then they were hosting a qualifier for the world finals over a weekend. He qualified 6th for the A main and finished 3rd overall. Against adults, he was only 10 at the time. I was the happiest pit man at the track.

Oh and the time last year that he waffled a receiver in football for his first tackle.

I know the feelling . When my oldest was only 18 months we took him and his 3 month old brother to a new daycare . I was only there for maby 5 minutes checking them in when a 4year old see's my son playing with a toy he wants . The 4 year old was 6-8 inches taller and 20 lbs heavyer . He ran over and pushed my son down and took away the toy . I was upset and about to say something but he got up and grabbed the kid by the shirt and headbutted him in the face . The older kid hit the floor with a bloody nose and lip , crying . Fight over . Won his first fight at 18 months .I felt alot better about leaving him at daycare after that .

It took my boy 5 weeks to get over that and back to daycare, not to mention 2400 dollars in dental bills. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. And over a freakin' toy to boot. Still to this day he just sits in a corner everyday after school and mumbles to himself. Every so often lets out a scream and yells something about a forehead attacking him.....
I am so full of bullshit, someone stop me now....:wink_2:

That little red haired shit Marky desevred it and more . Hows it going Shadow ? If I can ever get away from all these damn family emerganceys we should go fishing again . My stepdads hernia , my mother in laws near fatal car wreck , my wifes anurism . These last 3 weeks have sucked . At least they all happened in different weeks . They could have all been on the same day ! I want to go riding too , before I tear down my bike for more mods .

Kudos to the deck romp! My wife and I use the deck frequently, but don't forget about the other rooms of the house inside, like: on the bike in the garage, on the pool table in the basement, in the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and my favorite, on the island in the kitchen. Once you've broken the house in, hit the golf course to practice you putting, hole in one everytime!!!

Sweet! There are a lot of angles on a spiral staircase! Going up or down would be fun. Remember practice, practice, practice! It's good exercise too!
