how to make a map?

is there a program that i can download or use online to make maps? i have no problem highlighting on a map like the old days, but i was just curious if anyone knew of a special motorcycle map site.

also, i wanted a program where i can pick a route. not like mapquest or google maps where they give u a route.

Google maps lets you alter the suggested route by dragging it to another road. You can also add multiple destinations.

+1 on google maps - you can drag the route to suit you and you can click the "no highway" button. It's all I use anymore.

best investment I made this year was a GPS. Not that I really care where I'm going when I ride, but it's nice to find lodging and food when needed.
