I want to put some 6 inch risers and dragbars on my bike. The OEM bolts and nuts on the stock risers are 8mm. Can someone push me in a direction for risers that will work with stock hole size or should I buy the ones I want, 6 inch straight risers with 10mm hardware, and just drill out the holes to fit the new hardware? I have only had the bike for a month, first time owner, so I am a little worried about drilling on the bike but I will do what I must. Help!!!

No problem. There is a lot of good information on that site for metric bike mods.

Drill them out.you have to get over the fear of hacking up a perfectly good bike to make it yours. If you decide to go back, you can always find a way to return it back the way it was.On your bars, you could find some spacers to make up the difference.

Welcome. I got my first bike just last March (can't beleive it has been just about a year!). I started modding mine about 6 months or so after I got it. I waited that long because I didn't know what I was doing and cuz I was scared.
Google a lot for your parts, forums, Scootmods on this forum and their eBay store are great. I have used crusiercustomizing.com or customizingcruiser.com (whichever why it goes) a lot. Then when you can't find exactly what you want for your ride make your own!
