..And I'm getting this: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95737

It's going to really piss my wife off. Probably take it to the bar with me, in case the bartender doesn't hear me.

I'll probably get some cheap tools for the bike as well

I'd never buy any of their cheap Chinese junk. My father in-law who owns a fabrication business and who I used to work for would buy their shit right and left. Something would break and he'd be right back over there buying another one. Finally, one day I said "wouldn't it make more sense in the long run to pay a little more for a good tool and not have to worry about it breaking or be stuck using tools that are only partly functional because they're already half broken?" He kind of looked at me funny and said "what do you mean?". Of course, he knew what I meant but I think I offended him in some way. I replied by just saying "I wouldn't shop there" and changed the subject.

I agree, all that place sells is shit. I'm surprised you dont read stories of people getting hurt with there tools. I bought some cutter heads for the lathe. 4 of em for $7. 2 of em dulled in less then 5 minutes, the 3rd one snapped in half and hit me in the shoulder. If that would of hit me in the face, it probably would of fucked me up pretty good. The 4rth one I threw in the garbage. They are good for some stuff, like a megaphone haha. I picked up those connecting rubber mats from them for the garage. 16 sq. ft. for $10. For under a hundred bucks, I covered my entire garage floor. There still garbage, but good enough for the garage. Stuff like that there good for, otherwise there tools, you can fuckin keep them. Personally I think they sell dangerous tools.

Agree with you guys. I like them for some simple stuff to throw in the garage, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.

If it's something I need to rely on or use a lot, forget it.

Great place to go for megaphones, though
