Brian,
How far is your place from Memphis? I will probably be up there for the SCRC National Reunion at St. Judes on Sept. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. It would be cool to finally meet you in person.

Terry,
We're 22 miles northeast of Louisville. Louisville is 389 miles from Memphis. It's a hell of alot closer than Texas, but still a good little ride. It would be great if you could get up here for part of the Rally though! We expect a fairly good sized turnout this year, most will be on Hondas, but we also extended invitations to FreeRidersClub.org, of which we are members. All brands are represented by this group, we only care that you ride, not what you ride!
We're hoping that Menace, BrotherBaker and the other nearby Shadowriders will be able to come down. Anybody willing to make the ride is gauranteed a good time!
Should be a blast, hope you can make it! Let me know if you can, and I will PM you with contact info and directions.

How far of a ride from Chicago?? It sounds like fun and it would be great to get away for the weekend. May be a bit too far of a ride????

Cbn,
Yahoo maps says it's about 320 miles and 6 hrs from Chicago to LaGrange, Ky. LaGrange is about 20 miles from Louisville, so it's a straight shot from Chitown to Louisville on I-65, then turn left onto I-71 and go the last 20 miles northeast towards Cincy. We've got folks coming from southern Ill. and St. Louis, so it's not undoable! C'mon down and join the party!
As far as accomodations go, we may have a tent or two not spoken for, or we have a block of suites reserved up in LaGrange, about 4 miles from the house. They are being discounted at a rate of $52 a night.
If you decide to make the ride down, you'll want to email my wife for all the details at navillustoo@bellsouth.net

So hey Chicagobikenut, are you still interested in riding down? Or is that too far of a ride for you? We've got a couple riding over from Eldorado, Ill. on his Sportster Saturday morning. If you're interested I could hook you up with them(he's a member on the HondaShadow.net site). Just let me know if you're still interested.

Well Damn, we wish too! We'll miss you and Deb! Have you been riding much at all this summer? We just got back from riding in the Smokies. Fantastic! I can't wait to go back down. I want to plan a trip to ride the entire 470 miles on the BRP, it's such a rush! Maybe we'll see you at Devil's Staircase in Oct. I plan to go, do y'all?
Later.

I have only been on the bike 3 times this year. I'll ask Deb about the Staircase. That was a blast. :cyclist:
