What are the differences? Just wondering and trying to get an idea for the Shadow 750 World.

They share the same frame and engine .The rear tire and brakes are the same also . That is about it . They are simular in many ways but many parts are not interchangable without modification . Try and be more specific , I own a Spirit and my buddy owns an ACE . I could give you real answer .

what about fitting the front wheel from a spirit, or one with a larger diameter. I figure the fender will not fit properly tho, oh well.

I've seen Spirits that are beefed up to look more like ACE's, and ACE's chopped down to Spiritdom...I think the front fenders, and probably the rear, are interchangeable...I think. Don't know about the wheels. I think the rear tires are also the same. If you want more specifics, pm me...I have both bikes in my garage.

I think that the rear fender mounts are different .The ACE has a steel fender and no subframe . I don't know about the wheel . What do you want to do ?

I was wanting to get the narrower look to the front end.
I want to keep my rear fender and lower the rear as well, but for the front, maybee go with spirit triple tree, forks and the wheel assembley.
Just wondering if thats possible. Thanks for helping out
This is what I have found:
Aero and Spirit share same engine but aero has only one carb
rear fender from aero could be installed on a Spirit as long as you install aero's struts
Aero is shft drive vs chain drive on spirit
from sittin on aero I find the forward controls to be closer than spirit
aero provides a smother rides due to shock while spirit is more sporty
HP is about equal on both but spirit demonstrates a better take off (maybe due to chain drive)
lots more part for spirit than aero from aftermarket
both are nice rides for the money

ACE, no Aero
The heading of this thread you started is: "ACE vs. Spirit //750's"
The aero replaced the ace, I believe Honda had some legal issues over the "american classic" monicer. There are probably a few differences between the aero and ace as well. I'm sure the same rules would apply for swapping parts.
