carb question/problem

i sent my tins out to get painted awhile back (september sometime:dizzy: ) and the painter still has them....(sent them off via the internet..yah, i know)

anyways, i got a extra set of tins from arshadow, put them on..now the damn bike only idles with the choke on....if you give it any throttle, it dies immediately..wtf???

it aint jetted, as a matter of a fact, its a 07 with only maybe 250 miles on it:freak:

i had the a/fuel screws adjusted out for my v and hines straightshots with BCT's, and have since put on Burbs, but the burbs have torq cones and baffles (the ones i got from eugene)

any damn ideas???? i did the following:

drained the spare tank, put new fresh 92 octane gas in it
put in a small shot of seafoam
tested the petcock to make sure its draining-it is
tested the fuel pump to make sure its pumping fuel-it is
even put new spark plugs in

sounds to me like your throttle cable/return cable assembly that mounts up to the carb is hung up....check that the assembly has no resistance and has full free play through complete throttle.....and return.

Just wondered if you plugged the lines.
