Well, if you'll ride to Little Sturgis, you can certainly ride to LaGrange for the 2nd Annual KY Rally held over the Labor Day weekend! Coming from the East, you'll damn near have to pass by LaGrange, so why not just use this event to meet up?

Americade is our big trip this year. But I would be interested in next year. Might as well piggyback our event on another. Is their a link for the rally, Brian?
We could take up a collection for Shadow, Glenn and their wives to get there

Thanks FF for thinking about that. If I can make it, it'd be more then likely I'd have to fly out. Not sure about how I could swing the time off of work. That's the main reason I can't commit to anything at this point. We're downsizing to a one-man office (me) and time off will come at a premium. I'd love to be able to trailer the bikes and bring the wife too (her work won't allow for summer vacation time).
Anyway, if there's any way I can make it.....I will try. I know I've got to do the dragon one of these years and it'd be nice to try and do it in one big trip.

I would love to do the dragon . It would just take way to long to get there . By the time I showed up I would not want to do anything but sleep and drink .

Clint,
I will post details for the Rally soon, there is no website. This is something my wife and I "threw" together last year to enable a group of riders from Ky., Ind., Tenn. and Ohio that met on Hondashadow.net, to get together for a weekend of riding and partying. It was such a success, everyone had a great time and said they'd be back again next year if we had it again. So here we are!

True enough, that's one of the reason's I'd probably trailer the bike to get it there.

I live in Central Ohio.
I've helped to organize the Valkyrie Ride-In that takes place every July. It's in Paducah, KY, this year but in the past had been held outside Columbus, OH, to take place the same time as the Honda Homecoming. Since the Valk Riders moved their event, I haven't heard of any other really large groups taking advantage of Homecoming.
Some folks rode in from the West Coast ride to the Valkyrie Rally - it's 3-1,000 mile days...they rode, then hung out for 4 days to rest, then rode back.
We also used a lodge just outside Columbus for a Christmas Party at last year that was wonderful - they have 200 rooms, are very reasonable and the food was good. Cherry Valley Lodge (http://www.cherryvalleylodge.com/)
Food for thought!

That's an idear. Maybe we could plan a weekend thing in the winter to at least get to meet as many members as possible. Even though some folks don't get a winter - Rheo!

me and the wife are trailering to the honda hoot and we might make it to the Homecoming. In july 22- 24 2005 is Carisle PA Bike fest. If we can get a group to go there that will be awesome. I think that little sturgis could be a good place for next year. I will try to make a list of all the replies to see what we have agreed on.
