i would like to go black and no flames since they are kind of everywhere on bikes, but i want to get some opinions, i want to show it, and from what i hear black isnt a good choice for show paint because its plain. what would you guys suggest for a paint job, go all out with some custom flames or just go a solid color?

Black??? It's on TOO MANY bikes, id you want to show it. Your bike will look like every other bike out there.

Look at www.alsacorp.com (http://www.alsacorp.com) and http://www.houseofkolor.com/hok/index.jsp Both of these companies have some great new products and colors that will really set your bike apart from others.

You would be suprised at what a simple flame job or some simple graphics can do to get your bike noticed!!!

well the only way i would do flames is if there was smoke and skulls or something different inside the flames.

what other type of graphics would be good?

Sorry, missed your earlier post. It really depends on your personal preference. What's your favorite color??

Maybe do a two toned paint job with a silver tribal between them. Do the bottom in black to blend in with the engine and frame, do the top in your favorite color using the crazeer FX by Alsa..

Here's a few sites to browse:

www.mikelearn.com (http://www.mikelearn.com)
www.killerpaint.com (http://www.killerpaint.com)
www.gotpaint.com (http://www.gotpaint.com)

Look at the paint MFG sites a listed above. I see very little of the special FX paints by ALSA being used.

Bear with me here, it's hard to do this over a forum with out having paper in front of us...

Also keep in mind its close to impossible to keep black clean, and the slightest surface scratch (like from towel drying) will show up good on black where you wouldnt be able to see it in other colors. I made the mistake of getting a black truck once before, couldnt keep that SOB clean for more then 2 minutes..........

i agree with dakota black does suck but when its clean it is beautiful. go with what you want. if you want to show it go with your own idea not that there is anything wrong with the others but kinda think of it as a tattoo. i guess? what do i know lol. airbrush addicts idea sounded pretty cool .

How a metalic base, candy over it, then ghost flames or graphics, then clear?
