I have looked everywhere on the net and can't find velocity stacks for the spirit 750... or for any 750.. all I could find was for 1300 cc up.... and I am looking for options!! Have you heard of velocity stacks for 750?? :stunned:

Someone on TSW has it. But if I remember right they did a single carb adaptation for it to work. Think they used a harley carb and a custom manifold.

I could have sworn that I saw a post where someone had mentioned makin' their own stack using a J-Pipe (the kind that goes under the sink.)
I tried searching for the post before I posted this but I can't find it. Maybe I'm halucinating. :rolleyes5

I think the guy on TSW that has it has the design performance carb set up it has a velocity stack.

I know of a way . It is pretty expensive . The kit DP has a custom manifold and runs a single S&S carb . That and a velocity stack from who ever . :undecided

I have found a guy here that has one, if I get the info I will let you know. He said his didn't cost that much and it looked great. You know manufactored, not garage selled. We met at a bike night and he told me to call him and he would give me the info. As soon as I have it......ya'll will.

No go on the velocity stack. I don't have the correct phone number to the guy. No one knows him there. Sorry to get your hopes up but will try to run him down on another bike nite.

alright, help me out here guys. would it be that crazy hard to just have one velocity stack branched to the two carbs? i know it'd be kind of tricky to get the filter in there somewhere, but i think something could be figured out. no? i mean, i find it hard to believe that out of all these guys on here that no one has done somethin with a stack. i NEEEED to get rid of that ugly ass monstrosity known as the airbox. just my 2c

yes it's simple....all you need to do is take off the air box and where the rear oval portion of it mounted to your intake mount an adapter plate that takes it from an oval to a circle, I'd say approximately 36mm diameter and at that circle mount a flange approximately 1 1/2 inches tall, then take any Velocity stack that has a 36mm base and clamp it to the flange, simple.

Almost always velocity stacks are mounted to the throat of the carb....thats why no one does it to our bikes at the intake, it'd look fucking ugly as all getout, that and now you'd need to get ahold of SurkerNick for a SurferNick fin cover to fill in where that fucking ugly blank spot that the breather cover hid is.
