View Full Version : fork reflector replacements
ain't no big deal, but rather than shave those fork reflector brakets off of my fork legs (which would have been a hellofa lot easier), I had some replacement slugs made with a design I made. Thought I'd share:

Very cool, nice job, how much to make some for my bike, (2003 SS 750), I think mine are recessed, you may have a business idea here. Let me know if you are willing to make more and I will let you know for sure the demensions of mine and we can talk about what you can put on mine, great job, very creative!
thanks for the comps - I didn't do the machining, I just made the design. It was actually a bit of a bitch: I made a bitmap of the design, then someone else rendered it as an autocad file and then someone else fed the autocad file into the cnc machine. A lot of machine shops didn't want to touch it because it was such a small project but I finally found a dude on another forum who was willing to make them for me.
Now I"m a little confused though - your SS doesn't have reflectors mounted in the forks - you just have them on the side of the rad cover, right?
