I was watching the news about an hour ago. The owner of the mine was holding a press conference about the miners that are trapped in Utah.
I'm the type of person who pays attention to everything. I noticed that when he was talking about the search for the miners he said "We are focused on the recovery of the six miners." The key word there is recovery. If you're looking for survivors, it is a rescue effort. When you are looking for bodies that is when it is considered a recovery effort. He also starte dto break down as he ended his news conference. He knows these six men are dead and he's not admitting it. Shortly after I pointed it out to my mother, the news anchors started talking about the very same thing.
Bob Murray, the owner of the mine, in my opinion, is a piece of shit. His mines so far in 2007 have racked up $1.46 million in fines. That equals approximately $6,606 A DAY!
All scumbags like him are concerned with is making money.
I pray to god they find the six miners alive, but I believe they are dead.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of these men.
