Yet again, another difficult question....Does anyone know where I can go to get an actual functional cam (will crane cams do it...will they even know how to do it for my bike?) for a 1997 honda shadow aero 1100?

there is a company called web cam they can do a regrind on your cam. ive been checking around for my spirit 1100 http://www.webcamshafts.com and this is the only option available.hope it helps but be aware a cam change alone wont give you a lot of power.you will need to up the compression to reap real benefits.JE pistons has the specs for a 10.5 to 1 piston but you have to buy 4 for approx $750 if i could find a willing partner i might split the costs on pistons. well hope this helps

I have spoken with the people at Mega Cycle Cams quite a bit, and they said they never got any considerable performance gains on the 1100 motor. They said for whatever reason the self adjusting valve train limited performance gains.

I was wondering what a cam switch alone would accomplish for the vt750?
