Who saw Cops this weekend? The guy that ran from the cops on a motorcycle and hit a pickup going about 100. How the hell are people that stupid? At least he was on a Honda.

Driving and stupid seem to be a common mix in some
people.
We get people speeding everyday who have suspended
license (fail to pay fines for SPEEDING). But the best
one lately was the idiot doing 83 in a 55:

1) Suspended lic.
2) Wanted for Burglary
3) Possession cocaine (2 crack rocks)
4) possession Marijuana:

TWENTY TWO POUNDS !!

Nice hit for us on a basic speeding bust.

You would think if you were doin' something illeagal, oh like...running drugs, you would make sure that you were doin' the speed limit, all your tail lights worked, and you signal all your turns and lane changes.

There was a big bust along the interstate around here a while ago, I forget how much in drugs the guy had on him, but he was pulled over becuse he had a tail light out. These morons waste so much time trying to find places to hide the stuff, secret compartments, false floors and such, but they over look little things like keeping plates current, tail lights , and the speed limit.
Do you need any more proof that drugs make a person stupid?

And runnin' is just as stupid, cuz if you don't get killed you will get caught. Radio waves travel at the speed of light (more or less, cuz the speed of light can be changed but that's another topic) and I have yet to see a car or bike go that fast. Last time I checked, all Police Officers had radios in their cars/bikes or on themselves. Not to mention the fact that Officers are trained to handle their vehicles in pursuit situations, and the common criminal is not.

I stopped a guy a while back that I got on radar at 45 in a 20. Suspended drivers license, no insurance and a misdemeanor warrant. Had the idiot not been speeding, I never would have noticed him. Go figure!

Ignorance & dumb luck - I had one pull out in front of me a few weeks ago. Pulling out in front of me is my biggest peave. Just as I was about to run the license plate and initiate a stop, dispatch puts out a call of a carjacking just occured with possible weapons involved. The description given matched the car perfectly so I give the plate and sure enuff that's the one. I light em up and the chase was on. Went through 3 cities and got up to 105 before he lost control and the car stalled out. Bad guy went to jail on several felonies....he had just got out of the pen not even a year ago. Guess he liked it there.

Even more recently, we got an anonymous tip of some rough necks doing drugs inside a local motel room. Didn't have shit to get a search warrant with so we decide to do a "knock & talk". Dumbass comes to the door and I tell him we're there because we heard drugs were inside the room and ask him for consent to search. He, like the dumbass most dope heads are, says yes and lets us in. Inside we find some crack, weed, lots of paraphernalia and a couple of crackhead prostitutes who are known to be HIV positive. They were all just about to share a loaded needle.
