Going back to stock Not

I'm so pissed. I entered a show on Sunday. And there were only three bike in the Metric class. A Semi modded V star my spirit and a accesorized Shadow 1100 (Wind Screen, Saddle bags Etc) The fucker took first place. Then the v Star took second. To piss me off even more they werent giving out a third place trophy. Even the V star rider thought I was going to get first place. He was pissed that the stock Shadow won. Dont get me wrong I was glad to see a honda win over the v Star. I have more done to my bike then the two put together. Well enough of my bitching. There alway another show. :rifle:

Sounds like Bagger fans voted agianst you . Not everyone likes the sporty look . I have seen some of the dragqueens that win at shows . It can be a complament to lose than to come in second or third to an ugly bike .

I know the feeling. I lost my first show about a month ago. Luckily it was to Susan's bike. :wink_2:

I entered three shows last year and out of it only got "judges choice" in one of them. The thing that gets me, in my classs I got 2nd and then judges choice is best overall bike and I get that??? That's fucked up. I lost people's choice to v-star with spider theme and best foreign to another vstar.
They were both nice bikes so I didn't mind taking a back seat to them. The problem with most shows up here is that they are all Harley love fests. They have a class for every possible combination of Harley motorcycle. Metrics..........no, it's all Foreign class. So any bike other then Harley gets grouped in there.

The chopping of metrics is growing . It has prolly been a slow grow due to the fact most people buy them for the ride and reliablity . Chops are not known for comfort .

I dont mind losing if the other bikes are better looking, but a stock bike. I should of put my wifes semi stock ace in the show instead

I just beat out two Harleys, three crotch rockets and a mini chopper 2 weeks ago at a car show here in St. Louis. There was only one class...Motorcycle. I plan on killing all Harley's this summer.
