Just need to know if there is an o-ring around the stock are box, where the cover sits into it?

nope. and learn from my mistake, don't over-tighten that cover down. i way over-torqued my shit and the cover cracked around the mounting holes.
fortunately for me this 4m is chock full of supercool, generous dudes! my buddy mcvierh's sending me his old stock cover that he doesn't use anymore.

Hey Mr Quam, you should have that cover either monday or tuesday...my wife sent it out yesterday (friday)...only one hitch tho, she did a recieved reciept request so you'll probably have to go to the post office to sign for it, she only did that cause she has more sense than me and figured that with it being insured the post office is liable for it if it doesn't get to you...or something like that!

thanks was just wondering, i took the cover off to polish an noticed a small puddle of something in the bottom of the air box. turned out that me washing it so much is letting watter into box! hence the guestion is their sapposed to be an o-ring!
