I have a 98 1100 Tourer and the headlight seems dim compared to some of the other bikes I have owned. Has anyone else had this problem? Also has anyone tried some of the aftermarket bulbs to brighten up night cruising and if so which bulbs seem to work best?
Thanks in advance.

A lot of people have gone with the Silverstar bulbs. I've got the PIIA super white bulb in mine. It's like daylight, I know the cars can see me coming.

You might consider installing a light bar.

I know what you mean who would ever think we would post them  :shocked2: :ok: You sound like a smart guy if I where you I would have to vote for your wife's also unless you want to sleep with the bike, so in my case I would have to say Lisa's rule because even though my bike is nice I really do not want to sleep with it. :wink_2:

Oh please. Lisa's a tease. She ain't posted the puppies anytime soon. Nonetheless, when it comes to bike headlights I'm running PIA H4 90W in the main light and PIA H3 55W in the floods. Makes a HUGE difference as well as about a $90 hit in your wallet.
I have an 02 750 Ace... i want to change out the bulb so is my size an H4? Or is there another product number?

Looks like her headlights are fine!
I wouldn't imange they'd have used something different. I have an '02 Spirit and it uses the H4 bulb. Have a look at the PIIA brand of bulb. Or if you are trying to save a bit of money, Silvania Silverstar bulbs are reported to be fairly good at a decent price.

It's an H-4 bulb in it. It's available in any brand of light out there.
