Bought a pair of bullet turn signals (turn only, no running light) and there's only one wire sticking out of them...this is what they sent me:

"The turn signals are internally grounded. They do need to be mounted to something that is grounded or you do need to run a ground wire."

My question: is the rear fender already grounded, and the fact I'm mounting these straight on it OK? Or do I have to weld the Honda ground wires to the inside of the fender/trunsignal bolt?

BTW, this is on a '97 shadow 1100 ace...thanks!

If your mounting them to the fender just run a piece of wire from the back of the unit to the subframe using a couple of ring terminals. Or connect the existing ground wires from the wiring harness to the back of the lights on the inside of the fender.

If you are not attaching them to metal, just run a ground wire from the bolt/nut to ground.
