do they come with any type of spacer for behind the strut.

You won't need one, they are 3/4" thick, you take your shocks off, and put these on with your stock bolts.
Thanks

You guys make anything for the vtx's or strictly Spirits? And another question, kind of on the same lines as the one about spacers. Do you have too install the bushings? Seems like it would be alot of shear load on the bolt with no bushings? Ah hell what do I know, they only let me work on airplanes!!!!!!!:freak: :rolleyes3

I'm not sure how the vtx is designed but on the spirits and aces there are 16mm studs(for lack of better words) that are on the frame and swingarm, the shock/strut slides onto them then bolts on. There one no bushings, it's metal on metal. If you can give me measurements we can make you a set.
Thanks

JoeYou are right man, but mine is the same way, I'm not sure what size the studs are though. The bolt only keeps them from sliding out and off. DUH. And they let me work on air planes? OH SHIT!!!!! Anyway, let me try and find out and I will get back to ya. I do know that my shocks are 12.25" stock length. I would want the struts 11" center-center on the mounting holes. How much extra would it be too put an "X" in the middle? More I'm sure since you would need to use more material in order to do it. If I get you the meaurements in inches, (stud size) would that work? If not I wil try and find out the metric size.
Update here: Looked up the suspension on a website, they are calling that piece that the strut would slide on to a "bolt" that actually screws into my frame and then you screw the bolt that holds the strut/shock on into it. So if I didn't use any bushings would this create more load/tension on that "bolt?" I have included a link to show what I mean. I just don't want to hit a bump real hard and have that bolt shear. Maybe I'm a worry wort, fuck who knows.
The bolt in question is Item #2.

Link dosen't work.
It's the same stuff that holds the shocks.

in purp's arguement: but the shocks give before shearing the studs off
in scoot's arguement: purp you're a worry wort. I've hit many good chuck holes even two up and I haven't noticed any stress. That's what the tire's for!

I seen where a guy put 9 inchers on his. I think instead of 11 I would go with 10 inchers.
