You guys were supposed to help me stay out of trouble with the
wife, but nobody bid and I couldn't resist.
I needed to get rid of that horrible brake dive, and paint the forks
black, and put some fork boots on, and, and, and..............

No SS, got outbid in the last 30 seconds.
That's OK, The springs are a want to have. I NEED a new battery
and a larger summer windshield, so I should be doing those
first anyway.

I was on a winning streak as well this past winter..........then had to explain all the paypal transactions.
I think she's keeping track seeing she got her new bike now. It's "seeing your bike is done, we can do mine now". I knew she was good about it for a reason!

Tell her your getting new stuff for yours so you can make sure it's safe before putting it on hers.

That didn't work when I bought my bars in the winter. She didn't even have her bike yet and I had to buy hers too at the same time!
Better show off her new toy.

Very nice.....both of em. V-star? Looks sharp with all the black.
Oh yea...get those damn refelctors offa there!!!!

it's not my bike, I told her about the damn reflectors!!!! It's a v-star 650 Custom. I really like the black, with powder coating on the motor. Thanks I think they are both pretty sweet myself.

Susan was looking at the custom too. The classic is nice but she wasn't thrilled with the fenders on it. But she went with her SS cause the seat high was lower and a bigger engine.
Help her get the reflectors off...please

My wife looked at the VLX first and then when we saw this she fell in love with it. We didn't like the classic either because of the fenders. She drove a Kawasaki 250 LTD all last summer, so just about anything would have been better.
The spirit definitely has the lowest "stock" seat height. But with the Corbin seat on her bike she can sit flat footed on there and that's good for someone that's 4'11"

She originally looked at the Suzuki Savage 650. But I wasn't thrilled with the one lunger engine. and the weight was too light to be taken on the hiway. That poor single cylinder would have blown up on the hiway.

We looked at a Suzuki at the bike show, can't remember the model number....I think it was an 800cc. She wanted to be low to the ground and have some weight to the bike but keep it light enough for her to control. She's happy with what she has now.

Probably the Marauder. I have those bars on my bike.
