I think someone said that they would not fit. Scootworks do have them. Anyway, the easiest way to get the wires through it is by spraying some WD-40 as this will help them slide through the bolts. But before you go doing that, make sure you have the right bolts. If not, return those and go to www.scootworks.com.

They fit through mine. It's tight but they'll go. Spray a touch of WD40 in the bolt and go slow so you don't mess up the insulation. If the wire already has a connector on it get one about halfway through first then put the other in.

I'm not going to say I told you so..... But I do recall a thread discussing this very issue. If you can return the Kuryakins, do so. unless you know someone that has 8mm bolts on their fender struts. Hellrisers had the 8mm ones from Kuryakin listed in the spirit section. I had emailed Angela there about it and she wasn't aware they wouldn't fit the Spirit. So she said she removed it as a part for the Spirit.

I think it's my fault. I'm the one that suggested the Kuryakyn's....sorry :undecided

If he was in Canada, I'd have offered the set I have sitting here. Brand new, still in the vacuum plastic they came in. Obviously with the clearance issues with my back tire, I can't run the wires through the struts.
