I found some string lights at walmart in the bike section works good for under the tank if you dont want to spend alot.Runs on 2 aa batterys and has on flash and off switch.Has mounts for the battery to zip tie it to the frame.they are not as brite as the ones Ive seen for bikes and cars but they are only $6.95 for a 23 inch string.

That's not bad, looks alright to me. Nice thing with that is there is no hook-up to your existing electrical so if you don't like it, remove it. Nice find!

Autozone sells something very similar. It comes in different lengths. I got a 5' piece and put it under the chrome head covers on Susan's bike. I held it in place with super glue and used black shrink sleeve to cover the areas that I didn't want to show. %' was the perfect length for it. And it can be wired into the bike.
