So I decided fuk it. I'm getting some 16" radi-apes all braided steel cables, new grips and mirrors. If I can sneak it by, I'm puttin a 1.5" scootworks lowering kit too. Should start getting some parts in next week. I'll post some pix when I get somethin done.

I got a set of 16" with the shorty risers on my Spirit 750 and I love em. As far as lowering I put 11" Progressives and a 2.5" kit on mine. I had to ditch the subframe but I don't carry passengers anyway.

Those bars look very similar to the ones I ordered. Are those made by King-ping cycles? Radi-apes?

Yeah, I got 'em from Kingpin through eBay. The only bad part about them is that they only have a single 3/8" hole at the bottom to pull all the wires through. I thought about slotting it out to make things easier but I didn't wanna damage the chrome and end up with rusty bars. It was a tight fit but I managed to get all the wires pulled though anyway.

Yeah, Kingpin is who it was... I sent him them an email, asking about these and the 1.5" dia 16" bars they had. He cut me a deal on these and the chrome risers. Just shipped today. I can't wait :) :)
i've been thinkin about apes too but i dont think i'll go big don't want the bars to be bigger than the bike + i'm short i'll probably hang from them like a chimp

The bars I got look just like Gene's bars. They just arrived the other day, along with the mirrors and risers. Still waiting on the grips. I still need to order my cables. I have to fix my Blazer first (wife's orders...) So I plan on changing the oil cooler lines on the blazer tomorrow, and hope to set up the bars and measure cable length Sunday or Monday (I'm off work Monday). So it'll be a few more weeks before I'll have everthing done.

What size cables did you use? I did some measuring, and I think I'm gonna order +10" throttle, clutch, and brake line. Plan on ordering tomorrow.
