You know, I'm really getting sick and tired of turning on the news and hearing about little girls being abducted, raped and killed. Last month it was Jessica Lunsford in Florida and now Sarah Lunde also in Florida. In both cases, the suspects are convicted sex offenders.
The thing that pissed me off was when they were taking John Couey to court for Jessica's murder, they had heavy security and he was wearing a bulletproof vest. They said they were afraid for his safety. I say who gives a F*CK about his safety. He didn't care about that little girls safety, the perv wanted her and got her.
Laws don't seem to stop these sickos. In my opinion, when you find these guys don't put them in jail. Release them and advertise it all over. Let them be fair game for whoever gets to them first. Let THEM see how it feels to be hunted, to constantly look over your shoulder. Maybe then the others sickos out there will think twice about touching defenseless children. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means a violent person. But when you want to mess with someone who has absolutely no chance of defending themselves, that pushes me over the edge. And it's happening way too much!

I've done alot of reading on the group Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA). Some people have a problem with they way they go about things, but they're protecting the kids.

In their mission statement they say "...We stand at the ready to shield these children from further abuse. We do not condone the use of violence or physical force in any manner, however, if circumstances arise such that we are the only obstacle preventing a child from further abuse, we stand ready to be that obstacle."

As a parent of 2 small children I understand your anger . We could spend more time trying to do some thing about it , instead of going after Howard Stern for instance . So much time and money is wasted going after freedom of speach . Protecting us from ourselfs because we are indecent by nature . Those same people who want to protect our children from indecencey do nothing about child molesters . If those people directed their energys in a more productive route , imagine what could be done . Great topic! I have 4 children in the house here, 3 of which are little girls.
In our state, there is a website that lists the location of all sex offenders, address' are listed for all of them, even the ones in prison still. They have to register, if they don't, they go back to prison. What get's me about all of these cases is the fact that it is a registered offender that committs these crimes! If the people who write the legislation of these laws were family members of victims, then maybe the laws would be different. I remember a while back, an offender (I think he was from Texas) asked to be surgically castraited, and if I remember correctly the judge was all for it, but a group of whiny ass human rights activists said it was unconstitutional! What about the victims rights? or future victims in cases where the offender is convinced that they will do it again? New laws must be written to protect our children, not the criminals, and they not only have to be written, but enforced!!

One of the problems with Registered "sex" offenders is that most of them are
never checked on and no longer live at their registered address. In most areas
you can go online and find out who they are in your own area. If you find that
a registered individual is no longer living at the 'registered' address, report
them to the local or State police. Most cops hate sex offenders and will be glad
to help!

If you should run into the lazy or politically correct when reporting these
people, mention that as soon as you are done with them, you will be
going to the local TV and newspaper outlets to tell them..

As a parent of 2 sixteen year old daughters and a 12 year old son. I have some limited experience with this subject.

When one of my daughters was 14 a friend of hers stepfather exposed himself to her. And was also charged with attempted rape of a minor. That cocksucker got off by pleading to endangering the welfare of a child because there wasn't enough evidence to convict on the attempted rape charge. The other two girls involved were too scared of reprisals and they wouldn't testify.
So this fuckstick gets 6 months in the county lockup and that's it. In the meantime we're left trying to hold my daughter together. And he's laughing about it.

His wife continually follows my daughter around the supermarket where she works. When I complained to the manager about it, it stopped for a while. Then started again. So I sent an email to the corporate HQ of the chain (ahhhh fuck it, it's Wal Mart) I happened to be working my part time job as a plumber there a couple days later and let the manager know about the email as a courtesy. He got pissed that I didn't come to him again and that I was using time he was being billed for to do something personal and called my boss and told him I wasn't allowed to work there anymore.

I threatened Wal Mart with possble litigation for harassment and they pretty much blew me off. What gets me is that this manager was all pissed that I spoke with the HR director of the store about it and "wasted" her time with it when he's paying her to do Wal Mart shit. My question to him was why the fuck are you paying an employee to follow my daughter? He had no answer. So I told him that if it happens again someone is gonna leave his fucking store in an ambulance or a hearse and I can guarantee that I won't be the one.

I had to fight with the DA's office and the judge to even get an order of protection in place against this turd. And then when they finally did it they forgot to specify a distance. So this dickhead could stand right next to her and we could do nothing. They were even looking to rent a house across from my ex wifes house and there was nothing we could do. Finally after threatening just about everyone in the Orange County DA's office with swift and blinding violence from me. They realized that they should have put a distance on it and changed it.

The one thing that gets me about this whole ordeal is that everytime I raised my voice all these dickheads are telling me to calm down. Now, telling me to calm down only pisses me off more. Especially if I'm trying to make a point and I see that the person isn't listening. The chief of the Blooming Grove PD came out into the parking lot of his station when I found out what had happened and interrupted my rant with a "Mr. Bonnett, you had better calm down right now." I told that old fuck that he had better drag his ass back into his police station before he got hurt.

What gets me is that everyone was so willing to lock me up for getting pissed and threatening people, but the douchebag that started the whole thing is walking around smiling.

(shhh, she doesn't know) I guess the part that bothers me is that if it did happen and they let me be the one to kill the person that did it, I don't know that it would really help. My daughter would still have to try and deal with it for the rest of her life. It's just hard to admit you can't protect them from everything.

I agree that we spend way to much time and money going after things that are not important and not enough trying to stop this kind of stuff.

It's truly a sad & sick world we live in, where sex offenders, pedophiles, & the like go free while those that commit lesser crimes go to jail. I myself believe in capital punishment & think it should be used on a regular basis, as well as be publicly televised when they do use it. Our judicial system is so screwed up & thrives on the almighty $$$$ .

I myself have a young daughter & if I ever find out something like this happened to her, the poor bastard better say his prayers cause Hell is coming to dinner (his ass is mine) no trial or court date needed. Besides I'd be saving countless taxpayer dollars to boot as well as doing this world a favor.
