well the ride down was fairly uneventful, except for the early morning cold .. I had gone through the bike the day before, cleaning it up and checking it all. Changed the oil and tightened the pipes at the header. I layed well in anticipation of the day. 1st layer of silk, then wicking stuff, no cotton there. Then the sweatshirt and the thinsulate jeans, chaps, gerbing gloves, fleece buster, baklava and off. All in all I was fairly toasty. My ride bell is on my bars were I can see and hear it reminding me to ride safe. Always looking for free space and watching the road well ahead. Couple not so surprising moments considering the N.Y. traffic. All in all not a bad day. Stopped on the way home to get geared back up and got in around 10. bout a 415 mile day. Met a guy and his wife from another forum there .. Nice to know no matter were you are theres someone with a warm smile and a handshake.

Heres the link to the pics. I took most of them with wide angle lens and cut them down to 640x480..

Use the view as guest button on the page .. enjoy

Great pics.....the Yankees bike is made by Dee Clark at Ultimate Cycles. His shop is a couple miles from here. In the one pic with their trailer in the background is a bike that has a sidecar for a wheel chair that he just finished up a couple months ago.

Good Job on the pics. Thanks for sharing. We have another ride coming up soon here in Portland. Should have some pics from that after once the run is over.
