This is the way I mounted mine. Took the stock one off with the bracket. Take the two 8mm bolts out of the bottom of the stock housing. Pull the head light out and unplug all the connections inside. Pull all the wiring out of the stock housing. Now the light that I got had only two wires, a white wire and a yellow wire. The stock head light plug has three wires, a white wire, a blue wire, and a green wire. Cut the stock wires from the plug. You do not need the green wire it's a ground and the light will ground itself. Unless the aftermarket light you get has a third wire that's a ground. The other two wires are your high beam and low beam. I cant remember which was which but the yellow wire from the light went to the white wire from the stock light and the white wire from the light went to the blue wire from the stock light. Then to mount it on the lower tree I took a angle grinder and grinded that ridge in the middle underneth the lower tree down and drilled a hole center mass. Worked out great.
