How Do I Lower My Bike???

That's for the forks...

The other guys will chime in, especially if I'm wrong. For the rear you can either go with 9in struts, shorten the spring on you shock, or go with a shorter shock.

On the rear of Susan's bike I cut 2 1/2 coils off of the springs. If you want a rigid, get some struts. The length will depend on personal preference. Or try www.scootworks.com for a rear lowering kit.

I have the 1 1/2" rear kit made by Cobra on my Magna and VTX 1800 rear shocks which are 1/2" shorter than the stockers.

There is a tutorial on disassembling the rear shocks somewhere. BUT, you need an abrasive wheel to cut the springs, and then you have to grind the cut end so it's relativley flat so the top plate seats right.

I bought the 2 inch lowering brackets from scootworks. Looks a lot better and handles better.
