That was cold with the choke open . It has a much slower deep rumble at idle when warm . Thanks , that was the first time I ever rejetted a carb , modified an airbox , put on new pipes , and wrapped the pipes myself . It was alot of work outside my comfort zone . I some how managed to do it all right the first time . I pays to be a Shadowridersjunkiepostwhore . I got alot of info from this site and all the great people who post here . Thanx Joe :laugh2:

The file is old and is no longer hosted . I would have to make a new sound file[ the old one has been eraesed] and resubmit it . The last time I did it I think maby 12 people watched it . If I where asked by a few people I would go to the trouble to do it again . By the way it is awesome . :happy:

I would have liked to hear it, but my Burbs are finally arriving tomorrw!!!! Shit, that took forever, close to 8 weeks!!! If anyone is going to get some Burbs pipes, and are getting them chromed, be prepared to wait. Adam is trying to find another new chromer.

Some guy out in California. He was supposed to ship them a couple of weeks ago. Never did. The hold up, who fucking knows! I was supposed to have them on last week!!!!! From the day I ordered them and talked to Adam about special tips I wanted cut until now it's been almost 8 weeks. They'll be worth it when installed!

You got that right.........Don't forget to put some type of heat repelant in them before you start it. I used the stuff from Cycle shack. Two bottles to be precious, And they look as good as new to this day

I got my burbs on last night and no sound file will ever justify how fucking awesome they sound!!! When my neighbor gets back in town, he works for Apple, he'll get some new photos for me and a sound file so I can post it.

My pipe where descibed as " Loud enough to wake a sleeping god " . No sound file will do them justice . You have to feel them in person . Your pipes will mellow a bit once they get some carbon in them .

Pretty cool. How much did you spend. I think I talked to Adam and he said 250 for Corba look a likes,then the chrome would be extra. Yours look pretty sweet,and sound really loud.:happy:

I wish I could hear the pipes ( burbs, Corbas etc) in person. That will be my deciding factor. Thats how I got my bike. It was either a Honda ss 750 (duh) or a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 started both and liked the Honda better. Now maybe someone in Kansas or Missouri (I'm in Kansas City Mo) with aftermarket pipes we can meet up so I can hear them:laugh:

Sorry man, I'm outside of chicago. You can make a road trip if you want. i ride on the weekends pretty far, but KC is too far. I have Burbs Groundhoggs. He also cut a viper tip on them for me, they look awesome. I'll have pics in the Vgargage very soon. I also got them chromed. After chrome guarding the inside, all togeter it was about $500.

My bike just idles a little faster . I get comps from Harley guys all the time . The ones with stock pipes wish their bike sounded like mine . Buy whatever you think sounds right even if it is a Harley .

I was out his weekend and a bunch of harley riders thought I was on a harley. They couln't have been that bright because the ss750, really doesn't look like a Harley. Anyway, they all loved the pipes. I'll try to get my pics and sound file up this week for y'all. I got about 200 miles on the new chrome burbs and no blue yet! Chrome guard seems to be doing it's job.

I got a written invite from the GypsyJokers to hang at the clubhouse . They loved my bike . I have a friend with the same style on his 1200 sportster . I am a little louder and a little deeper in tone . They may sound the same when I install some baffels .
