Quick question I have scooter works lowering kit I believe 2 1/2" on the rear. I was looking at the 9 1/2" hardtail conversion.

How is the ride with the conversion?
Can I still have a 200 on the rear wheel?
where is the best place to get them? I would like the round chrome ones.

This place rocks

I have 9.5"struts and the ride is great in most road condition.. not so for my wife whos on the back...I recommend lowering a little bit the air pressure on the back tires so that it sticks to the ground if you hit any small bump while cornering.

About the 200 wheel... don't know I have stock, I dot think that I have that much room for a 200... but not sure....

Mine where custom made but you can check out www.wildcardcustoms.com or if you make a search on this forum with the word "struts" will get you more results...

BTW FUCK OFFF NOOOOOOOOOOBBB!!!!

Most people run 91/4 struts with the 200 rear tire.not sure about with the lowering kit.I would run the just the struts and keep the lowering kit if you want to use your shocks later. As far as struts they have some here http://www.sonsofthundermetriccycles.com/
also torch makes some and scootmods on ebay has some (none right now)

Welcome Jim

Although I can't add any tech advice I gotta tell ya that registering with a valid email address may prove to be a prob later on down the road. Web bots are constantly sniffing the web for addresses to spam.

I am running a 200 with 10 inch. The ride is of course, harder but with a good seat its not all that bad at all. I had 91/2 but it lowered the frame way too much with the stock tire. I like the look of the 200 with the 10 inchers. I am thinking of getting another seat with a bit more padding.
