View Full Version : looking for new front and rear rims

Okay I've had it with the spokes.... The damn things never come clean enough, and there a bear to clean. Give me some ideas on front and rear rims. I have seen alot for the front but not much for the rears. Let's remember dave doesn't have that money tree growing in his back yard. I cut the damn thing down, it wasn't growing fast enough haha :no:

LOL, now you tell me!!

As for the back tire, the cheapest thing would be the wheel cover that H.a.c. makes or you can try getting on a list somewhere and get the one from CustomWorld International. I believe theirs is about 199.00 US and the H.a.c. is about 245.00 US. Neither are cheap, but they do cover the spokes.

The cheapest I seen was $1100 a rim!!!

He better have a BIG ass tree!!

I think you can find a little shorter tree, about the $850 height. A little higher tree $1200 for custom one off wheels.

The ones from Customworld International are always on backorder. They have production problems with them. Besides that, they are in Montreal and I won't even get into the French aspect of that!
H.a.c. are definitely better made and they look better as well. I've seen both and the ones from Customworld actually look cheaper.
You never know........someone may have a used H.a.c. cover for sale in the future. But I'm sure it wouldn't come as cheap as what some may want. :deal:

check out The Wheels here (http://www.cruiseconcepts.biz) . They do awesome work, from what you can see on Moore's bike. When mine is done, I'll post some pictures of it. My wheels came from them, but through a 'middleman'. Buy direct and save some $$ as well as $$ on freight.

There was a guy locally that said he might be interested. But if he doesn't want it, I'll let you know. Obviously I don't have much use for it now. I only put it on last Summer.
