Okay it start off like this, I worked like hell to get the front end back on my bike, finish the solo seat, etc. I go for a quick zip up the block do a U turn and get freaked out by the choppy handling. I get back home and give a full 4 finger grab on the front brake, yup, just what I thought I put the bearings in wrong, and I thought they were idiot proof. So now I get the frontend back together, and every thing a second look. Oh what's that no headlight? I get it working (blue and white wire not connected) and off I go. Sputter, sputter and die, try starting, try the choke, try push start, finally tick tick tick, battery dead. Charge battery, turn petcock on, and away I go. Proof run 3 mi and all is good, 3.5 miles all is good, 4 mi every thing seem in perfect order, then just as I hit the spot where a express way dumps into my lane pop, pop, sputter, cars trying to drive up my ass as I am trying to get off the fucking road and then finally dead in the shoulder. Try start, try choke, try, over and over, Oh shit, click, click, click. Push to nearest anything, another 1.5 mi. Fustrated and Pissed, walk into a reseraunt ask for a beer to go, no we don't sell beers to go, the person, replied. Okay give me a draft. Chug beer and walk out.and get on bike that won't start. Watch as fine woman pulls in to the spot next to me, and ask her, "Can I bother you for a ride or a phone call?"
Sure, my # is ---------- she replies.
Okay, to be honest I'd be the last guy in a whorehouse toget laid even if I had millions of $$$$$$ in my pocket. Now I have a fine woman just wanting to give me her # and I like a total putz have to explain I need a ride or a phone because the damn bike won't start. She lends me her phone, I call a couple people. I leave messages, and thank her for the phone. She leaves. I look at the damn bike again, and say I know there is gas. I turn the petcock to reserve start the bike and ride away to the nearest gas station feeling really stupid.
Cold beer: $3
reserve measure of gas: $.75
Feelings of disgust and stupidity: Priceless
