'cause I'm getting a bike!! OK, so it's not the shadow I wanted but its a great starter bike and may turn out to be the only bike I need.

That's great! At least it's a Honda, if not a Shadow. I remember when a 650 was a big bike, not a beginner's bike! Oh well, that was a long time ago!

congrats on getting a bike!!!! My first bike was the 750 nighthawk. Won't say the year, that'll date me. But it was a great bike and an excellent one for me to start with.
