Someone school me on lowering...

I want to lower my ride, but I'm not sure on the best way to do that. Shorter shocks? Struts? What else is there, if anything?

i was thinking about lowering my 1100, but the prob i have is, if i do lower it, my kickstand might be an issue, as it is now, i have to lean over to the right to get the stand out, any thoughts?:huh:

For $109, I can't really go wrong checking out the scootworks lowering kit. 1 1/2" shoudl do nice.

jrod, when I lower it, I'll let you know about the stand. Right now, I think I'll be okay. If not, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
