I used search, and I found a bunch of threads that have helped, but I'm stuck. It's almost time to get new tires, and I want wider rear tire look. Now I know the 200 will fit, but with the stock rim, I'm not sure it's the best choice. Can anyone tell me if something smaller will look just as wide as the 200? I mean, it's already running a 170, so the 200 may be the way to go, but I don't know, and this is not where I want to use trial and error to try and get it right.

i think a 190 is the widest you can go, the drive shaft on our 1100's are an issue:thumbsdow

you might be able to put a 200 but you might have to dent the driveshaft cover:thumbsup:

Based on the Metzler guide, we can go 200 without any modification. I just don't know if putting a 200 on it will yield much girth. I'm not really ready to do any major chopping, so sticking with close to stock will be where it is. I'll get before and after pics when I go with the 200. That is unless someone I find that running a 180/190 will be as fat due to rim width.

Saw that in my initial search. I guess I didn't read far enough into it. Gotta find me a 6" rim!
