Leesburg is having it's annual Bike Fest 4/23 - 4/24.

22,23 and 24 in Leesburg Fl. (for you Va folks) Great time is had by all this is downtown and the main street is blocked. about 3000 or more bikes show up . and many Venders line the street for about 8 blocks. there is a band in a small park.. Plenty of food and Talk.. bike line both curbs for the full length and parking lots are full... Plenty of interesting bikes and Women.. I will be there ...

Pat Travers & Starship will be there, I went last year & had a blast. It's not as big as Daytonas but it was just as fun . You can even park your ride in the middle of the street..... :luxhello: Me & my honey will be there all day saturday! :cheers:

Damn gonna miss you since I will be going on Friday.. UsaShadow.. I rode up today as a test run. and it is 60 miles from my house much closer than daytona.. take 27 North or 19 or 441 and they all meet in leesburg there will be so many bikes going the correct direction that you can not get lost.. I still say the band Stand on Main st . is the place to meet.

We're leaving around 7 sat. morning, I have to make a stop at work (need to do some paperwork that should only take about an hour ) then we'll head down. Ed has an Intruder Alert patch on the back of his leather vest. We should be at the bandstand around 1p. Hope to see you there :drummer:

It's 6:20 a.m. & it's already raining :furious3: , I ordered a new set of 'bridgestones" they won't be here til wed., although my existing tires aren't totally worn out I don't wanna ride them on the wet roads. I look forward to seeing you Sunday. :cheers:

Made it to Leesburg yesterday, I got a couple of pic.'s of that Monster Cycle! Damn, that's a big 'un. As soon as we got there we hit the beer stand & listened to some tunes by Les Dudek at the Gator HD stage. We were dressed in our leathers 'cos the ride down was cold, of course it turned warm in the afternoon. :sweatdrop The ride home was so windy that it actually took my breath away...next time I wear my face shield! :idea2:
