I purchased the Cobra Classic Deluxe Slashcut exhaust for my 2002 Shadow ACE and am rather pleased with how they turned out. Had a hell of a time joining the head pipes to the muffler portion but once I got them on the bike the sound was worth the hassle. I would highly recommend them over the Vance & Hines Pipes, which sound alittle too tinny for my taste. And for those "I wanna piss off every neighbor within 4 blocks" days you can remove the baffles and get an amazing sound out of them, just don't plan on being able to hear yourself think!

I have the same pipes on my bike. Can you put the baffles back in after you remove them. If so how do you remove and put them back in?

You're asking a ghost man......this post was in '06. But I don't know the answer to your question. Someone might pick up on this and lend a helping hand.

Baffles are nonremovable on Cobra Classic Slashcut Exhaust.
