I have this on the bike but noticed something the other day. A friend took the bike for a ride as I followed him in my car. I noticed that when he stopped the bike you could barely tell that the brake light was lighting. After we got to the place where we were going I checked all my wiring took make all the wires were making contact, Which they were. Has anyone noticed this problem, and if so what did you do. I have the LED one so it's suppose to be brighter.

Try sending Bill an email on it. He's usually pretty good at getting back to people. I know that with mine there was a correction to the wiring diagram, Honda had changed the colors on some of the harness'

I don't think it'll get brighter. But maybe it's defective. But he would be the man to ask

make sure the wires are right if the running light wire is conected to the break light and the break light wire to the running light it will cause that problem.
Since there a re 3 wires to connect, you should have a running ligh (not very bright during daytime) and a brake light (easy to see at all times). make sure that when you apply the brakes that your light gets brigther. If not, you are not connected right. I have the connections, let me know if you need them.

Fegs if would send them to me via email..... Thanks D
Dave:
Her it is:
Black wire on tail light to green (ground)
Yellow wire on tail light to brown wire (running light circuit)
Red wire on tail light to green/yellow (brake light circuit)
If brake light remains on and dims when applied, switch swap red and yellow wires.
Hope this helps
