Here ya go guys check this out. This was my wifes 93 Merc. grand Marquis. The delay switch in the cruise control shorted out in our driveway. This car had been sitting for about 3 months ( I had bought her a 96 Tarus) We found a recall on the car that said this could happen at any time with the swich on or off!!!!

Thank god no one was in the car. Looks as if the carport got a little damage as well, it's a blessing it didn't spread to make things worth. Hopefully insurance will cover the damages.

Yup we got ins.(Full Cov.) They gonna pay for it. Already heard from the adjuster. My wifes mother was going to be using that car. About the time they were leaving to go get the tag for it they heard the first explosion. I was at work, when my wife called me all I heard was CAR...HOUSE....FIRE!!!!!!! so I did about 115 to the house(Needle was on the temp indicator) I work about 2 miles from home. :jamming:

Glad everyone is OK. That could have been a real disaster... FORD... a better idea?
