I just put a set of Mapam forwards on my scoot and would of NEVER got them on without the use of this site.

The install went beautifully!

I was going to get Mapams for my bike. But didn't really like the look on mine. Found a sweet set of Jardines used on Ebay though.

Yours look better then some of the other pics I've seen. The ones that I've seen always looked dull. Can the pegs and shift/brake pegs be changed to something else?

Just got back from a ride. I love em! :luxhello: Totally different feeling! I'm 6'1'' and it feels great to stretch my legs a little. The set I have have move you forward 4 inches.

You could probably mod some pegs. I don't see it being all that difficult. All the brackets are chrome and the pegs are semi polished aluminum. You definately can buff them to get a better shine if you wanted.

How much are the Jardines? They're like $500+ , no? The mapams I picked up off of ebay for $300. I think you can get them cheaper at Biker.com.

I cant wait to try em some more tomorrow!!

Dude, beautiful bike! I want to get extended forward controls, looked online the other day and damn are they expensive! It'll have to wait for now.
Gotta go get your holesaw and get those resonators out!

Thanx man! This is true they are not cheap! We're supposed to get hammered with rain this weekend so I'll be hiding in the garage moddin some more.

Good Luck with the holesaw mod! Make sure you hang onto that drill tight and go slow!

Be safe!
