Hey Tangledj, Possible to send me some sound clip? my email is lim_studio@cbn.net.id.

I make one of these based on the dimension frm Menace's BCT, but it did not sound & performs as what I expected. With the washer pararel eith pipe, it makes sound like whistle on decel...hehe, prob. that's why we need to buy the original...

not for stock pipes. They work in any straight pipe that has removable baffles. They sound better than no baffles at all. They are very loud and deep sounding. Very similar to a Harley.

Is that a 3/8 washer or a 1/2 washer...? yes you can buy 2, 1 3/4 to 2'' adapers and weld them together.. aren't they $40 bucks a Pair ?? so simple and me with no welder got to get one... How far do they go up into the pipes ?

Would those work on Burbs . I don't have mine on yet . I have to take it to the stealer this week for its break in service , don't want them to void my warenty. I just found out my pipes may be to loud for Or and get me a ticket . Thanx

They only work in a stright pipe and they sit about two inches in. They are loud, but only when you get on it so you can control it around cops. I would guess the washer is about 1/2. I can measure it when I get home.

I have the short drag pipes with 16 to 20 inch straights . I know they will fit . I was wondering if they would do what they say ?

Do what they say?? Like in sound like a Harley ??? No !! the washer reminds me of the old snuffer that you twist to quiet the bike maybe could make this work here also..

I don't think I would get the 10-15hp gains . I was not worried about sounding like a harly . I was more interested in quieter ride if need be . Or tuning the back pressure for jetting . My bad for not being more specific .

No problem Bro... What is your washer set up? With washer 90 deg frm pipe, the sound is too baffled & less torque than without washer at all. Acctually This 90 deg set up should give the most torque.

I wonder if my washer are too large for 1 5/8" ID pipe. Possible to give your baffle ID & washer size (inside & outside) ?

Damn you Tangledj, you make me want to play around with my pipe again! I will try to set up my home made BCT baffle one more time. I suspect it was not succeeded because of 2 issues, my baffle has about 2/8 inch gap with pipe inner wall, and my washer are too large.

Don't forget to meassure ok, I'll ask you more quetions for sure during set up.
