WTB engine guard for 85 vt1100c

Why the hell is it so hard to get parts for such a great looking, easy to handle, comfortable ride? Anyone out there know where I can get a new or used one? I've checked around the shops and they tell me most stuff has been discontinued for the 85-86s and the wreckers and used shops just don't have these kinda bikes. Might have to make my own.:furious2:

i have tried for MONTHES to get aftermarket parts for my 85, i found pipes and the alum. side cover panels, but crash bars,NOBODY makes them for our bikes!! i guess they think 85-86 shadows dont exist any more...honda ony sold thousands of them, put some pics up of your bike......jrod

Not sure if they have it or not but they keep alot of parts.
