Just got in from a night at Hooters. The guys who have been here awhile know abouot my buddy Wayne who was killed last April in a car accident. We started a tradition of going to Hooters on his birthday (May 11) since that's where we would have been anyway. Doing it last year was REALLY tough. This year wasn't as bad. It was just 6 of us and all we did was talk about all the great times we had with him and drink a few toasts (6 pitchers in under 2 hours) to him.
I know Chop n Drop lost his best bud lately. All I can say is make as many great memories with your friends because those memories may be what gets you through each day in the future. One wrong move is all it takes, I know.
I'll really miss that big sum bitch but the memories make it easier to cope.

We figure he was watching us and wanted to give us a show anyway. The Hooters here is across the street from TF Green airport. While we were sitting there we saw the airport crash trucks, local FD and ambulances going to a Southwest Jet sitting at the terminal. Just seemed awfully coincidental.

Here's to you Wayne. :drink:
