For those who don't know...I have a post in "Classic Shadow Modifications" on an exhaust mod I recently performed. I don't have dB levels..yet.

I guess cops don't have dB meters as standard equipment?

and to kinda bring this back on topic (since I'm the one who went astray)...
I'm not sure if side mount plates are legal in my state either...I just went ahead and did it, just like I do everything else....but this is a small town and all the cops know me. The Chief even goes to the same church as I do, and they all know I'm not a mope, so they kinda let me slide on the minor stuff. Don't get me wrong, they love to pull me over and give me a hard time, especially when I'm drivin' around in the Cobra. :stop:

I searched ...
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/
with no final results to help you....
I'll suggest you contact the local DMV and post the final answer as this may help others looking for the identical answer.
