Touch Up Paint [Archive]

Has anyone had to touch up the frames on their bikes?

I have a couple nasty rock chips down by my shifter (front of the down tube) that I need to touch up. I'm just wondering if the black on my bike (I have the candy dark red/black) is the same as what is on the frame??? I know there are different shades of black and want it to blend well...

Not had to do it on mine but have figured that when it came time for the lower frame to be cleaned up, I would have one of those spray bedliner companies do just the exposed lower area. One treatment and it would last forever.

I had never thought about that... That may work well on the bottom of the frame. I don't think I would want it anywhere too visible, but on the underside that, I would consider.
